I was a student of Mr. Kleffer for three out of my four years in high school. What made Mr. Kleffer such an outstanding teacher was not how well he prepared us for the test, but rather how much he cared for his students. He wanted us to not only learn from his class but enjoy it. Mr. Kleffer thrives as a teacher because he seeks to be a friend and mentor to his students. It is extremely evident in his class that he cares for each of his students, which causes his students to open up to him. Many of his students, myself included, have gone back after graduation to check up with him and just share life. He also loves to share his own life with us and in doing so he teaches. These qualities make Mr. Kleffer a fantastic and unequaled teacher.
