Student success is not measured by exam scores or grades. Success is measured by developing the learner's lifelong desire to have a positive impact on others.



Betsy Molchan (second from left) was inspired to create a custom t-shirt to raise money and awareness about the epidemic of human trafficking. Her passion led her to connect with the CEO of an international organization that fights human trafficking.
Students gather information concerning their communities, research possible solutions, and present their findings to a group of local leaders.






Grant Wilson brought joy to a local nursing center by handcrafting and hanging more than 25 glass bottle bird feeders and hanging the units outside of residents' windows.
John Waidhofer was moved to plan and oversee a construction and irrigation project for his former elementary school.
Kyla McCartney decided she wanted to bring a smile to the faces of children in local hospitals, and collected enough stuffed animals and funds to serve several hospitals in the Bay Area.
